How long do I have to wait for my first date?

There are a few things that will determine how long you’ll need to wait for the first date, other than how eager you are to meet them.

The first thing you need to take into account is the time it takes for you to decide on who you want to take out and whether they agree to the match.

Then there’s also a cooling off period that’s put in place to make sure they’re the one you really want. During this time you can still arrange the first date, but you won’t be able to go out until this two week period is over.

It will also depend on if your match with is based in the UK or coming from abroad especially to meet you. If they do need to travel from abroad it might take a little longer for them to arrive, but we’ll keep you updated on their travel itinerary.

Can you help me find someone with a real spark?

We have a number of electric options that are sure to spark your interest.

If you’re not sure you’re ready to fully commit to an electrifying date then we’ve also got some hybrid models you can connect with.

Can I go on multiple dates?

If you’re looking for multiple matches for your household then we can help you with this.

Please note we’ll still need to go through the same process of checks and cooling off periods to ensure these matches are suitable for you.

Can I request a dress code for the date?

If you’re looking for a particular style, spec or even colour for your match then we can find this for you.

If we can’t find a match that meets all of your profile requirements then we can customise one of the closest matches to ensure they’re the perfect date for you. 

Will I have to prove my income, height or anything else before the date?

We won’t ask you to prove your height but if you’d like to move forward then we might require further information to make an informed decision on whether or not you and your match would be compatible.

What if I find a hotter date?

If you find a hotter or even a cheaper date then let us know and we’ll do our best to try and match what they’re offering you.

Will you charge me for your matchmaking services?

You can find your matches for free on Ignite. If you decide to take one of your matches out on a date then there may be a small charge for this service but we will let you know what this will be before you agree to taking things any further.

How do I stay Covid safe with my match?

This is a question we get asked a lot and we’re here to reassure you that we have put in place measures to ensure you and your match are as protected as possible from Covid.

Wherever possible we have gone paperless although there are still some instances where you might need to sign a document. If this is the case for your application process, we will email the pages for you to print and then scan or post back to minimise the risk for you.

Before the date your match will be thoroughly cleaned, as part of the preparation process, and you can be sure they’ll arrive with minimum contact from our team and the delivery agents.

Will you pass my details onto your friends?

We may get in touch from time to time to see if we can connect you with a new model, but your details will not be shared with any third parties.
